If the rifle were developed and captured by the Nazi’s, it would have given them a distinct advantage. Both of these rifles would later go on to help “father” the designs of 2 legendary rifles; the M14 and FAL.) It’s interesting to think that maybe the war could have been very different if the Germans had access to this weapon.
